BACKGROUND PROFILE SHAYNE YATES

Shayne started out in Banking back in 1996 holding several junior posts at Barclays Bank before being appointed a Small Business Manager at the age of 19yrs in 1998, this seeing Shayne being the youngest ever appointed business manager in Wales at the time, he since went onto roles across the bank that covered agriculture, medium business, corporate and retail management before leaving the bank in 2005 to join Welsh Government through Antur Teifi as a high growth business adviser, this providing business advice to a select portfolio of the largest businesses located across Mid/West Wales.
His career at Antur Teifi seen him delivering a variety of economic programmes on behalf of Welsh Government which included Business Eye, Flexible Support for Business and Business Wales, this seeing him manage teams of over 60 staff across Wales before moving on to the role as Head of Business Services back in 2017.
Shayne has a real passion for business, this was evident when he and his family set up their own Restaurant in West Wales back in 2017, this provided a real insight and deeper understanding of the work and energy needed to run your own family business.
Shayne’s methodology is to do his best for his clients, this to provide them with the required support to gain success and grow their business, he’s developed a strong portfolio of industry connections over his 25 years of experience which he brings to All Business Solutions.
